Can I be charged with possession?
Can I be charged with the possession of marijuana if the marijuana found wasn’t on my person? I was getting a ride home from a co-worker when they were pulled over by the police. Long story short, the cops had found a joint in the vehicle in which my co-worker had admitted was their’s. However, we were both charged with possession? Can they do this? I wasn’t high or under the influence so there was not probable cause to suspect that I was a willing participant.
