Should I get an attorney for a DUI?
My 19 year old daughter got ticketed for DUI last night, she blew a .11. She was pulled over for weaving by a state patrolman. This is her first offense and she has no criminal record. She admitted to the patrolman that she had been drinking, the officer had her car towed and then brought her home. Her hearing is Tuesday, should I get an attorney or just have her plead no contest? Does the admission of guilt to the officer during the traffic stop seal her fate?
