We are excited to share the news that Colgan & Associates was selected as Harrisburg Magazine’s 2018 Readers’ Choice for Family Law Attorneys! We are honored and humbled by the overwhelming support we received from voters who are our clients, friends and neighbors. Thank you for choosing us to represent this prestigious category!

This year there were 175,000 votes cast, with our firm receiving over 70,000 votes. It is extremely rewarding to receive this number of votes from people we have served, as well as many others who have heard about us from word of mouth recommendations. Central Pennsylvania is a very special community and we cannot overemphasize how proud and humbled we are that you would choose Colgan & Associates as Readers’ Choice for Family Law Attorneys!

What Does Receiving The Reader’s Choice Award Mean?

Harrisburg Magazine’s Simply the Best and Readers’ Choice Awards is an annual contest that runs in the spring of every year. There is a wide variety of categories that encompass local businesses, nonprofits, events and more. First, businesses and organizations must be nominated to be on the official ballot. With enough votes, the top 5 to 10 businesses or organizations appear on the official ballot with public voting beginning on April 15. Over 6,000 businesses were nominated, but only 1,500 had enough votes to make it to the next round!

Then, voters are allowed to vote for their favorite businesses and organizations through June 15. There is no minimum categories that you must fill, but you must have a valid email address in order to vote. Once voting is closed, votes are tallied and winners are announced in Harrisburg Magazine’s August issue.
Colgan and Associates is proud to have received enough votes to be nominated to be on the official ballot. This alone requires a great deal of support from the local community. Then to win our category of Readers’ Choice Family Law Attorneys is an even greater honor! This means we received at least 40% of the votes among all the other family law attorneys who were also nominated for this category. We are truly grateful and see this award as an opportunity to continue to grow our reputation of trust and integrity in Central Pennsylvania.
